The HID-SS is an HID Prox card reader designed to be mounted seamlessly next to any of Aiphone's stainless steel sub stations. The unit has an embedded HID compatible card reader with a standard Wiegand output to an access control panel. The HID-SS mounts directly to wall surface or to a 2-gang box. When surface mounting with a stainless steel sub use either an SBX-2BH (Horizontal) or SBX-2BV (Vertical). If surface mounting the HID-SS by itself, use the SBX-2G.
Features:
- 2-gang stainless steel unit that contains an HID ProxPoint Plus Card Reader
- Installs next to any one of Aiphone's 2-gang stainless steel door station, creating a unified look
- Horizontal (SBX-2BH) and vertical (SBX-2BV) mount boxes are available for mounting the HID-SS with 2-gang stainless steel door station
- May be used as a stand-alone card reader
- Provides electronic access to a building through the standard access control system (not supplied by aiphone)
