The model SSCCD43VT is an Non-Ruggedized, Fixed Mini Dome Color Camera (NVT). More discreet than non-dome security cameras, mini dome cameras are ideal for surveillance sites where cameras are less noticeable such as building entrances, convenience and retail stores and shopping malls. Sony's new fixed mini dome color camera incorporates a 1/4" type high resolution Super CCD for outstanding picture quality (480 TV lines) and excellent sensitivity of 0.8 lux. The SSC-CD43VT utilizes twisted pair video transmission (NVT) allowing for installation utilizing an existing, spare twisted pair telephone cabling infrastructure versus running new cable. This new "mini" might be small, but it delivers BIG benefits and outstanding value with its 3 year warranty/24 hour service program.
