IEI's PowerKey products are designed to control access to industrial
machinery and industrial vehicles. The line includes PowerKey AC,
a UL-listed control device for switching 110 volts AC or 220 volts
AC. PowerKey AC provides individual PIN codes for authorized users
to operate industrial machinery and will automatically shut down
dangerous equipment when the equipment is left idle or when electric
overload occurs. PowerKey AC includes a lockout feature to prevent
the use of damaged or unsafe equipment.
Control the power to AC110 or 220 powered equipment with an access control keypad. The operation of the on/off switch on the equipment still functions normally. Now the circuit is controlled be the computer in PowerKey™.
